The Goal of our study today is to recognize that Christians are not exempt from troubles, temptation nor from responsibility, and that trying to avoid difficulty can lead us away from God, not towards Him.

Today we continue our study in Deuteronomy with chapter 30, featuring more about the Land Covenant, including seven promises God makes to Israel, the order of Law and the order of Grace, the Aleph Tav of Zechariah 12, and we even thrown in a brief explanation of the Masoretic text and the LXX. No starving sheep here!

Today we continue our study in Deuteronomy with chapter 29. With this chapter, we are in the preliminary to the Land Covenant and in chapter 30 we have the covenant proper. Today’s study in chapter 29 will remind us of just how faithful is our God and how great is His grace.
