Introduction
v1-5
1 Chronicles 5:24–26 NKJV
These were the heads of their fathers’ houses: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdiel. They were mighty men of valor, famous men, and heads of their fathers’ houses. And they were unfaithful to the God of their fathers, and played the harlot after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, that is, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria. He carried the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh into captivity. He took them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and the river of Gozan to this day.
v6 and chapter 18:9-12
Leviticus 25:23 NKJV
‘The land shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine; for you are strangers and sojourners with Me.
Leviticus 25:55 NKJV
For the children of Israel are servants to Me; they are My servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
Psalm 126:5 NKJV
Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.
v7-17
Psalm 115:8 NKJV
Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
v34-41
Acts 26:7 NKJV
To this promise our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God night and day, hope to attain. For this hope’s sake, King Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews.
