Dear Parents,
I am stoked to welcome you and your family to Calvary Chapel Birmingham. It is an honor and a privilege to come along side you in the teaching of your children about Jesus. At Calvary Chapel Birmingham, we are committed to teaching your children the Bible and proclaiming to them the goodness of God ; teaching them and showing them how much Jesus loves them.
Kid’s JAM (Jesus and Me) is committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with each and every child. As we journey through the Bible verse by verse in the sanctuary, your children are taught from the same verses, only on their level with crafts, games and verse memorization. Kid’s JAM takes place during our Sunday morning service and during our Wednesday evening service.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
The Bible teaches that the family is responsible for Biblical teaching (Deuteronomy 6:5-9, Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4), but my desire is to come alongside and be a strong encouragement and support to you, the Spiritual Leader of your household.
